Vietnam and China have strengthened agricultural cooperation following high-level engagements in April 2026, with both sides agreeing to deepen trade and improve supply chain connectivity.

The partnership continues to prioritize key commodities such as fruits, seafood, rice, and other agricultural goods. Bilateral agricultural trade has already shown strong momentum, reaching $20.94 billion in 2025, reflecting a 17.6% increase year-on-year.

Vietnam’s agricultural exports to China rose sharply by more than 41%, driven by strong demand and improved customs coordination and border infrastructure.
