China has assisted more than 10,000 of its citizens in returning home from the Middle East as regional tensions and military conflict disrupted travel and raised safety concerns across several Gulf countries.
According to China’s Foreign Ministry, citizens were repatriated from countries including the United Arab Emirates, Oman, and Saudi Arabia.
